Steps to read/write SKE formatted messages from/to the SKE-426 main control panel.

01 - Make sure that panel is in Normal mode. this is accomplished by setting switch 8 on SW2 to 
the off position and recycling power.

02 - Connect your PC to the panel using a standard 9-pin serial cable.

03 - Run the 7780 software application.  Can be found on the SK web site at 
http://www.silentknight.com/products/fire_systems/skeseries/ske426.htm

04 - Select the appropriate COM port you are using.

05 - Press the "Capture Panel" button. (A capture disalog will appear on the screen.)

06 - Set switch 8 on SW2 to the ON position.

07 - The "Capture" dialog should disappear after the pc-panel connection is established.

08 - Select "Read from Panel" to read a message and store onto your hard drive or 
"Write to panel" to transfer an SKE formatted message to the panel.

09 - Select the appropriate message location you wish to read/write.

10 - Enter the file name you wish to transfer (Press "Browse" to display a list of files.)

11 - Press "Start" to start the transfer.

12 - When transfer is completed, press "Release Panel".

13 - Set switch 8 on SW2 to OFF to return the panel to "Normal Mode".
