Common Problems

Problem
Possible Cause / Suggested Action(s)
Trouble message "DBL ADDR" (Doble Address) displays on LCD.
An address has been assigned to more than one detector. Find the duplicate address SLC device and correct the address.

If the location of the duplicate address is unknown, use the SLC Device Locator function to locate it. The SLC Device Locator function was described in section 8 under Point Functions Main Menu option. Once the SLC Device Locator function has been activated, walk the SLC loop to find the two or more detectors that are flashing.
