| Section 4 describes the 5104 being used in a slave fire communicator application. |
The 5104 can be used to communicate the status of a larger or pre-existing (referred to as Host panel in this manual) fire control system that does not have a digital communicator. To configure the 5104 as a slave communicator wire the 5104 as shown in the image below.

If power is supplied by the 5104 transformer, the host control panel must not send the 5104 a loss of AC signal. If power is supplied by the 5104 transformer, do not select the Slave Dialer option in programming. |
